AUTHOR: Cary Moretti, CTO

The value in bringing together the world’s leading hockey technologies within a single suite of services comes from garnering their collective product intelligence and realizing the interoperability of their services.

The HockeyTV live scorebar overlay powered by a LeagueStat running clock is a new feature that not only crosses multiple services, but one that benefits scorekeepers, broadcast managers, teams, leagues, and, of course, fans.  Our newest integration provides hockey organizations with the means to produce their own games in a professional-looking broadcast presentation without adding any additional staff or technology.

The video production power on the market today is truly amazing, but delivering a congruent broadcast presentation to the viewer is still cost-prohibitive.  By baking the running clock cross-service integration into our platform, the innovation benefits HockeyTV viewers and broadcast partners, alike.

Since this off-season, we’ve been working hard at expanding our cloud-based Broadcast Management System and extending the capacity of our real-time stats services in preparation for this convergence.  It’s been exciting to witness the evolution of our early prototypes into an end-user experience virtually unsurpassed in online hockey broadcasting.

This latest LeagueStat and HockeyTV feature represents the culmination of months of improvements to our network infrastructure. Yet, as excited as we are about the HockeyTV live scorebar overlay powered by a LeagueStat running clock, we’re even more excited about leveraging our new platform to roll out more new features and functionality in the coming weeks and months.

HockeyTech has always taken pride in bringing our different services together.  This is the type of amalgamation we’ve always been proud to deliver, and it’s been exciting to roll out a set of features with so many benefits.  So, keep an eye on your inbox and another on this blog – you’ll be seeing more features and functionality bleeding across product lines in the near-future.  This is just the tip of the iceberg.
