Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and Philadelphia, PA, USA (July 14, 2020) – HockeyTech and InStat Sport are proud to announce an agreement to make it easier for hockey organizations to scout players. Direct access to InStat Hockey will now be available to scouts through HockeyTech’s RinkNet platform. This will enable customers of both services to seamlessly access league, team and player profiles, statistical data and video.

HockeyTech’s RinkNet platform has become the most indispensable administrative tool for nearly every elite hockey league, team, general manager, coach and scout. It is the largest and most accurate hockey related database in the world. Secure and customizable, RinkNet provides users with the ability to quickly rank, analyze and obtain personal stats, information and playing schedules of over a quarter million players, all in one single platform.

“Our RinkNet platform holds a unique position in elite hockey organization, being used by nearly every organization in their scouting operation”, says HockeyTech CEO Stu Siegel. “InStat Sport has done an incredible job indexing and analyzing video, which makes it a natural fit to make easily available to our customers.”

The InStat Hockey platform (hockey.instatscout.com) is used by league and federation offices, coaches, scouts and management as a communication tool for coaching, player development and/or scouting purposes. At the team level, coaches and players can receive detailed reports aſter each game, statistical breakdowns, and links to corresponding video or playlists for the purpose of development and exposure to the next level.

“We’re very excited about this agreement with such a fantastic company. HockeyTech has a massive imprint on the sport of hockey, not only in North America, but worldwide, and we’re confident that this partnership will allow both of our companies to grow together for the foreseeable future,” said Mark Yates, North American Director for InStat Sport.
